Guillem (Girona, 1978) is a mover, performer and choreographer, and Jorge (Madrid, 1979) is a stage designer and performer
In 2009 they worked together for the first time as choreographer and stage designer, respectively, on the piece It’s a drop, a dance solo for ITs FESTIVAL (Amsterdam).
Some months later they worked together again on Uhhh, yo fui un hombre lobo adolescente inventando horrores, a stage piece conceived originally by Guillem but created together with Jorge. In this case both of them were on stage creating soundtracks for possible horror films and recreating the possible scenes these sounds could go with. This concert-performance was created in collaboration with Dr Kurogo on sound machines and coproduced by the Centro Coreográfico Galego and Melkweg (Amsterdam). It premiered at Melkweg (Amsterdam) and was presented at Sommer.bar, Tanz im August (Berlin), La Casa Encendida (Madrid), EAAC (Espai d’Art Contemporani de Castelló), Festival A-part (Girona) and Antic Teatre (Barcelona).
In 2011 they worked as equal partners on conceiving, creating, developing and performing Y por qué John Cage? (And Why John Cage?), a stage piece produced by Antic Teatre/Adriàntic in collaboration with A Ras de Suelo (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria) and La Porta (Barcelona). It premiered at Antic Teatre (Barcelona) on 22 September 2011 and has been presented at TNT (Bordeaux), Glej Ljubljana (Slovenia), LivingRoomFestival (Madrid), Escena Abierta (Burgos), Alt (Vigo), Short Theatre Festival (Rome), Espacio Inestable (Valencia), Kinkaleri Spazio K (Prato) and Sala Pradillo (Madrid).
Now, they are working towards their new creation: Los Micrófonos which they will develop in different residencies at Kinkaleri Spazio K space (www.kinkaleri.it), AZALA (www.azala.es), Work Space Brussels, BUDA (www.budakortrijk.be) and will be premiered the 3th-6th october 2013 in TNT Festival (Terrassa, Spain)
