NEW FORMS OF LIFE
PRINT THIS PAGEBio
New Forms of Life is a collective of young artists who create science-fiction performances and environments. Concerned with the production of alternative narratives, their approach aims to create new poetics of understanding in an excessively media-driven world where technocratic preoccupation subjugates imagination and well-being. For its new project, New Forms of Life is collaborating with the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences, exploring forms of ecology that address the relations between the environment, society and the human mind. In Natural Mysteries, the audience is invited to join a guided tour of the museum, exploring alternative cosmologies within the museum, a place where culture attempts to give meaning to nature. The museum exhibits inspire a narration that blends knowledge with dreams, travels through time and opens up a poetic breach, a space in which to think and live.
