(*1978, Salzburg) studied anthropology in Vienna and received her dance formation in Istanbul. In 2006 she received the Young Choreographer´s Scholarship at Tanzquartier Wien and in the same year worked for DD Dorvillier in NYC. In 2007 she co-founded
studio 5 with Thomas Brandstätter. Since 2009 she studies at the Acadamy of Fine Arts Vienna in the class of Pawel Althamer.
THOMAS BRANDSTÄTTER
studied philosophy in Vienna and Madrid. During his studies he specialized on aspects of transcendental philosophy in early Wittgenstein. He has been working as a writer and experimental filmmaker and collaborated with artists in the fields of fine arts, theatre, performance and architecture. In 2007 he co-founded studio 5 with Andrea Maurer.

produces performances, installations, videoworks and animation films. Within their research Maurer and Brandstätter have been focusing on methods of sequential art such as comic, stop-motion and film.Their works have been presented at various festivals and venues, such as Impulstanz Vienna, brut Wien, Tanzquartier Wien, Sommerszene Salzburg, Performa Maribor, Chez Bushwick NYC and others. Their latest piece THE END was premiered at imagetanz, brut Wien in march 2011.
