For your Ears Only (research/ work in progress - 2011-2012)

"Our perception of space depends as much on what we hear as on what we see" - Max Neuhaus

This creation is an 'Eventscape' dealing with Sound in space & time and how used in a specific location can challenge the perceptions of that space, being as ever present as the visual medium. This research is dealing purely with the usage of sound and eventscapes, in all stages of this work. A negation of the visual will be applied to the processes of this creation. "Non Actors" will be employed to create the eventscape that will put into question the role of the actor as creator of this enviroment. The audience in turn, becomes it's own creator of the visual.
