The road along the seven deadly sins.
Purgatorio presents the quest of the human being driven by love, the source of all virtues and all sins. Man is in search of happiness. The path is long and ridden with traps and obstacles.
Following Inferno, the author/director Rudi Meulemans and the dancer/choreographer, Vincent Dunoyer, continue their collaboration and their tour of Dante's masterpiece, turning their attention to Purgatorio.
In this theatrical adaptation of la Divina Commedia, hell (Inferno), the mountain of purgatory (Purgatorio) and paradise (Paradiso), are not considered as geographical locations but presented as emotional states in which the characters find themselves.
