‘The ballet of Sam Hogue - phantom legg’ is part of an ongoing research process exploring the artistic practice and multiple potential output of a system of non-representational physical communication between two performers.

In this production the practice continues with only one performer investigating how to explore this system of communication using his memory of the body of the other in order and to create new modes of perception.
A sub-component of the research is to combine the non- representational movement language with representational elements such as costumes, lights, sound, set etc, to suggest a direction for meaning or narration.
