Does the manner in which we look at things influence the world around us? The Reflecting Pool exhibition explores the ways in which techniques such as framing and editing, mainly associated with cinema, are also used in dance and visual arts to challenge our gaze. Running parallel with the dance installations Birdwatching and One/Zero by Benjamin Vandewalle and Erki De Vries, you enter a world in which physical and mental movement are always an extension of each other.
Expo with work by Bill Viola (title) Roderik Bösensell, Jan De Cock, Wim Delvoye, Erki De Vries, Pieter Huybrechts, Lawrence Malstaf, Albert Michotte, Ief Spincemaille, Philip Van Loocke and Benjamin Vandewalle.
