(translated: "FIRE EXPERIMENTS")
n the Autumn of 2012 Pieter van den Bosch is working on two projects: Maquette - 2 BEUK and KRAAN 13.
Workspacebrussels has been supporting Van den Bosch in a preparatory phase, in which he conducted research with elements such as fire and light. The performances that have been shown at the Working Title Festival were necessary steps in the development of his further work.
Maquette 2 - BEUK
Maquette 2 - BEUK is a new light installation by Pieter Van den Bosch. In this installation, the bark of a 6 meter high tree is covered with a layer of luminous paint. It is the first object in a series of independent light objects. Proper to almost every object in our world is that we look at it with a light perspective from above or from the side. The light source is the sun, the moon, a lantern or some other form of artificial light. The light objects of Van den Bosch keep on shining after exposure to light, even in complete darkness. They visualize themselves through a source of light which they seem to generate on their own.

KRAAN 13
KRAAN is the first project of Pieter Van den Bosch at the NDSM-Werf in Amsterdam. The work is part of a number of future 'attacks without consequences', which Van den Bosch will develop in the public space. These attacks will take place on or near people, monuments and himself.
