Anouk Llaurens

Anouk Llaurens (1969, France/Belgium) is a freelance dance artist, dance teacher, researcher and shiatsu practitioner based in Brussels. She is currently leading a research on poetic, polyphonic, and live documentation and completed the a.pass post-master program in 2016. She contributed to the online publication MIND THE DANCE (MTD), a collection of essays, scores and maps that focuses on dance documentation. Anouk is in long-term collaboration with trans-disciplinary artist Julien Bruneau (B). She is also involved in artistic collaborations and researches with Sonia Si Ahmed (BE), Heike Langsdorf (BE), Sabina Holzer (AT) and Helena Dietrich (BE). She teaches at KASK Hogeschool (BE) at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp (BE), for Candoco Dance Company and Independent Dance (UK) and at ImpulzTanz Festival (AT).
