Lisa-Josephine Vereertbrugghen (1986, Belgium) studied history in Leuven, dance in Berlin and choreography at SNDO in Amsterdam. Currently she is based in Brussels, where she creates performances, installations and publications bordering the field of choreography. Vereertbrugghen’s work has been shown at Playground Festival (Leuven), Kunstencentrum Buda (Kortrijk), Uferstudio’s (Berlin), Showroom Mama (Rotterdam), Friends With Benefits (Brussels) and Veem House for Performance (Amsterdam), a.o. Apart from making her own work she has worked as a performer for artists such as Min Oh, Marta Ziólek, Jaša, Benoît Lachambre, Deborah Hay, Marina Colomina, Matias Daporta, Lot Meijers and Michelle Moura. Since 2016 she is part of APAP, advancing performing arts project.
