Bio

Mark Etchells (UK) studied Fisheries and Ocean science with Marine technology at the Plymouth University and Garden design at Bicton College. He has also completed a TESOL, an English teaching qualification at Trinity College Cambridge as well as worked in the arts for the last 30 years, as a writer and performer, mainly with the Sheffield based theatre company Forced Entertainment.

Since 2014 Mark has also been collaborating with Nada Gambier on various projects (Monstrous Encounters of Clowns, The Voice of a City…). Today Mark lives on the countryside in Devon in the UK where he makes roofing, builds dry stone walls, fish ponds and water falls, and works with a tree surgeon. Alongside this he continues his multifaceted involvement in the arts.
