Bio

Maxime Arnould is a theater director. He was born in 1992 in Reims - France. After training as an actor, he left to study directing in Brussels, at the I.N.S.A.S. from which he graduated in 2019. He is both a director and continues to perform and collaborate with other artists. In May 2018, he participated in the project The Notes as an annotator and assistant to choreographer Ivana Müller as part of the Kunstenfestivaldesarts. He collaborates with and works for choreographer Audrey Apers, including with her installation Daydream space, in Venlo and Heerlen(NL). In 2019-2020 he is the assistant director to director Mikael Serre, for his show, Les brigands, an adaptation of Schiller, MAC-Créteil creation, February 2020. His work as a performer continues with his participation in the play MUR/MER by Elsa Chêne, at the Théâtre de la Ville and the Centre Wallonie-Bruxelles (Paris) as part of the Danse Elargie programme in September 2019.

He is currently creating a performance called Hello world, a solo piece that he interprets with drones and that deals with the playful use of certain technological objects and their consequences on our living spaces. He is also co-creator of a collective performance entitled 3rd wave which since 2019 reflects on the application of ecology in live art. This performance, which is constantly being created, is developed in the form of a performance that is broadcast using a kit device. The show is supported by 104 (Paris), Le Far° (Nyon), Le théâtre de poche (Hédé-Bazouges) and La Bellone (Brussels).
