Naïma Mazic

Naïma Mazic (Austria) founded the association more2rhythm and the n ï m company in 2016. In 2018-2019 she is resident choreographer at K3 Tanzplan Hamburg, working on her new creation infectious. She studied at P.A.R.T.S., the Reykjavik Academy of Arts and the MUK in Vienna. She was part of danceWEB 15 and of the HipHop Continuum at Jacob’s Pillow. Naïma concentrates on the musical independency of dancers of different backgrounds and on the collaboration with Jazz musicians. Her choreographic work is influenced by House Dance and Lindy Hop/Solo Jazz and by tools of Jazz music, such as uneven meters and polyrhythms. Naïma Mazic gives Workshops for dancers and musicians, developed and showed her work in Havana, Paris, Pamplona, New York, Kolkata, Vienna, Brussels and more.
