Pablo Lilienfeld
Bio
Pablo Lilienfeld is a musician and choreographer. He collaborates with Federico Vladimir since 2014. Their work has become interwoven with their relationship, starting from intimacy to explore representations of collectivity that question the hegemonic ways of narrating themselves. “Narrarse es cuidarse”, they tell each other. ”To narrate ourselves is to take care of each other".
Through speculative fiction, they try to sustain worlds in which the domestic, marginality, recreation and desire converge. In their research on transindividual narratives they have approached practices as diverse as synchronized swimming, raving and role-playing games. In their performances, videos and installations, they collaborate with relatives, friends, lovers, viruses, ghosts and other companions.
Their work has been presented in contexts such as Kasseler Dokfest (DE); Copenhagen Contemporary (DK); Cinéma du Réel, (FR); Queer Lisboa (PT); Santarcangelo Festival (IT); Bâtard Festival (BE); NAVE (CL); FIDCU (UR); Belluard Bollwerk (CH); Salmon Festival, Azkuna Zentroa, MNCARS, La Casa Encendida or CA2M (ES).
Pablo studied Audiovisual Communication in the UCM Madrid, Contemporary Dance in RCPD Madrid and Research Studios at P.A.R.T.S. He has participated in the networks Aerowaves, Performing Gender and AECID. He collaborates with artists such as Alessandro Sciarroni, Mario Barrantes, Joshua Serafin, Janet Novás, Manuel Rodríguez, Marco D’Agostin or Chiara Bersani.
