Sofie Durnez

Sofie Durnez (BE, 1980) is a costume designer and scenographer.

She graduated in 2003 as fashion and costume designer at KASK Ghent. She has been collaborating with Miet Warlop, Kate McIntosh, Superamas, Eleanor Bauer, Christophe Meierhans, Vera Tussing, Albert Quesada, Meg Stuart, Sara Manente, Lara Barsacq and others

These collaborations often consist of multiple productions.

In 2018 she started her own research; creating ongoing mixed media landscapes and collages using scent, texture, light and sound.
