Gates comes from an imaginary about an hypothetical movementresearch around 3 concepts, images or objects. A door, as a passage, an indication of where to go through as well as an obstacle for movement or an object to be moved. Smoke, as a substance that moves through every possible opening, that is non-living but yet never still, never angular and unpredictable. A person, as a person. Non of these are mutually exclusive to any of the performers. What concerns the artist the complexities of their encounters as much as the suggestion of abstract narratives.
