The Post Performance Production House
The Post Performance Production House has many performer-writers at its disposition (Elsa Fitche Gerald, Walter Smith and a handful of others living under the same roof) ready to be hired by artists and art festivals.
Part of the project deals with extending the lifetime of live performance by representing it through another medium : Writing. Their mission is not to make an accurate restitution of a performance but to make it live on through fictional writing. This medium questions the performance economy that deals with ephemerality. As great performer-writers, they have the discrete ability to interfere with the unassuming audience, curators as well as objects thoughts in order to multiply the narrative points of view.
During her residency at workspacebrussels, Laura Tinard will research further into this project and work on a performance situation that will include hired performer-writers.
