Since graduating his work has been ranging from opera with Deborah Warner in La Monnaie, Brussels, to movie shorts with the directors Dimitri Karakatsanis, Andrew Ly and Kevin Calero.
Gilles Polet has been part of the creation and performances of 'Shock' by David Zambrano, 'Orgy of Tolerance' and 'Prometheus-Landscape II' by Jan Fabre, 'Bluff' by Alexandra Bachzetsis and 'Longdistance Hotel', a theatre performance created online over a period of six months by six european artists and premiered in theater Maria Matos, Lisbon.
Besides touring his own works 'Flux' and 'En-Dash', the latter created in collaboration with Liz Santoro, Gilles Polet continues to collaborate with former P.A.R.T.S. class mate Robin Jonsson.
Gilles Polet is currently touring with Jan Fabre for the two re-enactments 'This is theatre like it was to be expected and foreseen' and 'The power of theatrical madness' where he plays the role of the emperor.
