Bio

Inga Huld Hákonardóttir (1990, Iceland) is currently based in Brussels where she works as choreographer, performer and dancer. She graduated from P.A.R.T.S in 2014 and has created several performance works in various collaborative constellations. With Rósa Ómarsdóttir she created and performed in The Valley, Wilhelm Scream, and Da Da Dans (a commission for The Icelandic Dance Company). With Katie Vickers she created and performed in Slogan For Modern Times and the trio We Will Have Had Darker Futures, a collaboration with choreographer Rebecka Stillman. Again The Sunset is her most recent work, made in collaboration with artist Yann Leguay. It is a multidisciplinary work focused on extracting sound from raw materials. As collaborator and performer Inga has worked with several choreographers such as Eleanor Bauer, Salva Sanchis, Erna Ómarsdóttir, Rósa Ómarsdóttir and Veli Lehtoovaara. She has also been involved in several contemporary music projects with the ensembles ICTUS and GAME.
