Lola Pertsowsky (b.1988 Rochefort-sur-mer) is a visual artist living between Isle of Oléron, Fr and Brussels. Pertsowsky takes photographs as though sampling the places she crosses, through tight framings as opposed to overall views, she is continuously building up a collection of details. Through recurrent motifs she illuminates the little, the unnoticed, always rearranging her photographs as different installations. In the lagged context of the exhibition, she invites viewers to wander in the blur between natural and human made objects, and thus suggests to apprehend the visible world as a fragmented string of artifacts.
After a Fine Art bachelor at Ebabx (fr) she graduated with a Master in Photography at Luca School of Arts Brussels with high honours. Since then her work has been shown at FoMu Antwerp (2016) and published in TIFF-magazine of young belgian photography - in 2015. She has an upcoming solo show at Central Lab, Brussels in March 2018.
