After training in ballet, Louise Vanneste heads for contemporary dance and enters P.A.R.T.S. where she graduates from in 2000. She then receives a scholarship to pursue her training at the Trisha Brown Dance Company in New York.
Based in Brussels, Louise Vanneste develops her own choreographic work (Louise Vanneste/Rising Horses). For every project she invites artists from specific disciplines to join her process. Her collaborators include composers Cédric Dambrain and Antoine Chessex, film maker Stéphane Broc, dancer Eveline Van Bauwel, and visual artists Stephan Balleux and Arnaud Gerniers.
Lately she created the solo HOME (Beurschouwburg) and in 2013 the duet Black Milk (Brigittines).
Louise Vanneste is artist in residency in Charleroi- danses and artist – partner of les Halles de Schaerbeek.
