A DOT, PAUSE AND A SENTENCE LATERPRINT THIS PAGE
"A dot, pause and a sentence later" started as a research on movement/voice relation through the investigation of language.
A language that defines us, shapes us, affects our choices and opinions because of the cultural footprint of the country we are raised in.
In this duet, the performers go through many changes of representative images, ideas, clichés, spaces, materials,...to search for the actual identity we have as time passes by.
Are we able to understand fully who we are and/or what we stand for?
«I speak out words,
my words provide sounds,
these sounds compose music
a music reads as a language
a language I speak»
