ATTENTION.APPPRINT THIS PAGE
Attention.app is a research project starting from the sensation that our visual field is being occupied by different interfaces due to the way technology is being integrated in our lives. In this performance, materials happen to give shape to a sort of layered reality in which unity is not at stake, and in which ones, as doers and viewers, have to navigate across them. Mediation seems divide our sensorial beings into modes of being and feeling that at times seem irreconcilable, if not detached, as they live in apparent separate worlds.
Attention.app wants to understand what kind of visual textures do materials perform? What happens when textures conflate, shift, change and rupture? How do we navigate across them as viewers? How do we make sense or simply, how do we sense heterogeneity? How do we make sense or simply, how do we sense incommensurability? Attention.app wonders about if collage could be thought as a metaphor and choreographic tool.
