Diane Rabreau recently graduated at the KASK in Ghent (BE), and since then travels through Europe to answer questions based on at first sight insignificant irregularities on Google Maps. Which sea is the strongest: the North Sea or the Baltic Sea? Is the green fluid in front of the coast of Gollwitz, Germany a danger for the environment? To answer a question, Diane travels to the place where she thoroughly researches it. This results in poetic, surprising and sometimes hilarious blog posts at www.destinationeurope.info, combinations of video, diary fragments, interviews and drawings.
On Working Title Platform #08 Diane makes one of her most enchanting destinations accessible for an audience in Brussels by what she herself calles ‘imaginary tourism’. During the first weekend she will inaugurate THE CROOKED FOREST MUSEUM dedicated to the location and the questions it evokes. In the second weekend, guided imaginary tours and a museum gift shop will be presented in her MUSEUM BOUTIQUE.
