- PERFORMANCE KIT
PERFORMANCE KITPRINT THIS PAGE
OutlinePerformance Kit is an ongoing study on the act of performing and on its sociological, philosophical and political implications.
why to take part? how to take part? when to take part?
Taking an action is a constant state of negociation between reason, affect, perception, judgement, context, ethics...
Manon Santkin and Leslie Mannès, the funding members of Performance Kit, are using the stage as a problematic frame of indetermination
to enhance and re-evaluate notions of engagement, responsability, investment, desire, choice and sense-making.
Performance Kit is based on a simple dispositif: a prerecorded audio score questioning
a performer in action. Mannès and Santkin enquire about the WHY - WHAT - HOW - WHEN to uncover micro and macro choreographic choices
being made and their underlying implications.
Performance Kit challenges the critical and imaginative mindset of a performer and a spectator in action and literally question it.
For the WTP#4, L.O.C. invite Maeva Cunci and Sirah Foighel Brutmann to challenge their artistic practice through performance kit.
