Recyclart floats on the river of the railway. What do we see when we fly over the neighborhood in Google Earth?
Gray and red squares, straight lines, black spots, luminous spots, details that are not always recognized. I (Diane Rabreau) am not around. I have crossed and descended the river several times; The fried shack of the church square, the marolles' youth center, the ball game square, the skate park, are my only points of reference in this neighborhood of Brussels.
Sunday, March 5, 2017, I will come to share my experience of the neighbourhood of Recyclart through a survey carried out by satellite, with my discoveries and theories. The presentation will be followed by a walk in the neighborhood, guided by geographical coordinates. This intervention is a foretaste of a broader action to be taken soon in Brussels: to create a Brussels team of explorers charged with exploring the details found in the satellite view of the city. We hope to bring together enough people to explore the world in the same way.
