WE DO MATTER » 14:00

While Nick Steur’s work dawns from a fascination with natural material such as stone and water, Matea Bakula produces sculptures of a more synthetic nature. Both artists are intrigued by the effects a small intervention can generate to the material at hand. In ‘We Do Matter’ they join forces for the first time, making themselves part of the geological process of rock formation. A rock that has had centuries to form, is now submitted to the craftsmanship of splitting and the alchemy of reunification. ‘We Do Matter’ is a both an auditory and visual performance in which the artists examine the dynamics of matter right in front of your eyes.
