Water_l’atterrée des eaux vives

Water_l’atterrée des eaux vives is a performative oddyssee, the one of becoming black.
The tryptic explores the tensions lying into the perceptions we have of a female racialized body.Shifting through black history figures and its own imaginary of blackness, the body becomes thehanging object between the how it’s been perceived and the how it expresses.

Navigating the trouble of double belongings, this performative poem comments the racialexperience of the self, exploring bones and flesh’s corporeality; using poetics of water, ceramics (incollaboration with Sophie Farza), masks and clown’s connection to the observant. The audience istaken apart, half tormenter, half hostage.
