The audiovisual trip highlights aspects of the imagination through photography, film and sound. Today’s nuclear threats and wars are translated into the white, overexposed photos, which turn into a complete ‘white-out’.

Although the place where the photographs were taken is weighed down by the history of the atomic bomb, this act of capturing a simple tree is an expression of the reconstruction and modernisation of a once devastated landscape. This ‘banal’ tree could actually stand in any country and thus embodies the universal character of a landscape in this world.
