Open studio: Evelien Cammaert — Archival Branches
Exploring physical or spatial translations of her photographical archive, artist Evelien Cammaert is inviting you to an open studio of her ongoing research Archival Branches.
Touching upon different ways of seeing, she relates to her photographic archive that has emerged over the past few years. Ranging from study material, images that once were or were not selected, the source material for her performances and installations, but also the images that emerged from them, for example as documentation or autonomous photos. As a first ‘branch’ of the research, Evelien will be showing some possible visual outcomes or products such as prints or small installations.
