a beat with no edge

A beat with no edge is the working title of the new project of choreographer Amparo González Sola. The trajectory started in April 2023, the work will premiere in 2025.

The research unfolds on the rough edge that imposes the question about witnessing and the (im)possibility of empathy, in the sensitive space that connects and separates the performers with the audience.

As part of this process Amparo is digging into the gestures of absorbing and metabolizing. She is working with polyrhythm and feedback as important alleys, both for the movement and the sound. She is exploring the voice and its potential to carry and transform meaning and emotions.
