Public Relations

Public Relations is a research project working between text and dance. Public Relations wants to develop different techniques of reading to find how bodies are described, situated within and carried by texts. We aim to excavate gestures, postures and movements of the body from a series of source texts. Finding methods to embody these movements compose our own bodies from the historical descriptions of bodies. Transposing gestures through time, in order to come to understand what kind of bodies we can continue to imagine and make space for. How we can write for bodies to come and speculate on the historical imaginary that provided space for the bodies we have.
