Manon Kanjinga Janssen

Manon Kanjinga Janssen (BE) is a dancer whose artistic practice is based on a polymorphic understanding that is unique to her. She is the result of the intersection of all the bodies and associated meanings that have shaped and informed her, reflecting everyday life. In a broader sense, it concerns her relationship to knowledge sharing and her relationship to the different cultural contexts to which she belongs. She considers the body to be multiple, relational and draws on different contexts of knowledge.

As a performer, she has danced for Briana Ashley Stuart, Mooni Van Tichel, Dan Mussett and Mohamed Malik. She is currently working with Benjamin Kahn.
