Antoine Dupuy Larbre
Bio
Antoine Dupuy Larbre is a dramaturg, choreographer, and performer based in Brussels.
After studying contemporary dance at P.A.R.T.S. (Brussels), he delved into dramaturgy, collaborating with various choreographers, including Mooni Van Tichel, César Vayssié, Biret & Gáddjá Haarla Pieski, Ching-Shu Huang, Urtė Groblytė, Zoé Lakhnati, and Elsa Tagawa. In 2025, he will collaborate with director Anaïs de Courson on an opera in Geneva. In parallel, he has performed for Gisèle Vienne, Philipp Gehmacher, Maria Hassabi, Gaëtan Rusquet, Vera Tussing, and Zoé Lakhnati. He has also created his own stage works, including Working Dance (2023) and #BACKTONATURE (recreation, 2024).
As a guiding principle, his artistic practice seeks to deepen the connection between the realities of the world and those of the arts. Antoine’s projects aim to merge these spheres, creating works and practices that resonate with the broader world. This involves reinvesting language with critical thought, cultivating radical empathy, and reclaiming the diversity of our bodies. Step by step, he strives to construct a "just" narrative with the world—using the polysemy of the word just to mean both what we genuinely do and what we aspire to achieve.
In his spare time, he participates in several collectives (leprojetgéo, Festival de L'Arbre Bavard), engages in activism, and holds a certificate in fascia therapy. He is currently working on his next creation, White Noise, set to premiere in 2027/2028.
