Flóra Boros
Bio
Flóra Boros is a performer and choreographer based in Vienna and Budapest. Her works have been presented by workspacebrussels, WUK, Muffathalle, Theater Akzent, and Schwere Reiter. In 2022, she received the START-scholarship for Music and Performing Arts from the Austrian Ministry of Culture and a scholarship for the ATLAS Program at ImPulsTanz. In 2021, she completed her studies at the Music and Arts University of Vienna and the University of Vienna. Her artistic practice takes an interdisciplinary approach, employing minimalism and creating rules within her works to enable a celebration of freedom within a restrictive framework. A recurring theme in her research is the exploration of the asexual and desexualized gaze and body as a form of radical feminism, which often serves as a starting point in her creations.
