HAZE (soft launch)

HAZE (soft launch) is a performance that explores soothing techniques as a direct response to the feeling of being overwhelmed by ongoing global challenges. It focuses on small moments of care — shared, personal, and physical. The piece moves between a sense of disorientation and a quiet, settled state. Self-soothing is approached not as something passive or indulgent, but as a quiet form of resistance.

The performers engage with memories and sensations explored both communally and individually, investigating how simple, everyday practices might offer connection — and how they transform when filtered through the body. Rather than seeking clarity, it holds space for the messiness, the effort, and the small gestures as ways of holding on.
