Gitte Hendrikx

Gitte Hendrikx (1992, Belgium) is an artist and performer based in Brussels. Her work oscillates between theatre and visual art. She began her artistic journey with a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the KABK, The Hague (NL), followed by a Master of Fine Arts at HEAD, Geneva (CH), and further specialized with a Master of Choreography and Performance at ISAC, Brussels. Gitte has served for several years as a cook at KVS in Brussels and finished her studies in Fascia and dance in 2025. During the past years she contributed as performer, dramaturge, actor, prop designer, and editor to various artistic projects with artists such as Azahara Ubera Biedma, Sara Manente, Diederik Peeters, Dorian Jespers and Table Dance. These works have been shown at places such as SPZ Gallery (CZ), De Pont (NL), Les Urbaines (CH), David Horvitz’s garden (USA), Encuentrosconcentrados (ES), PAKT (BE) and Vooruit (BE). Gitte thrives in collective settings but also nurtures her individual practice with equal passion.
