Line Boogaerts

Line Boogaerts (Belgium, 1986) studied graphic and multimedia design at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts (KASK) in Ghent, where she graduated in 2010. At the end of 2012 she was Laureate of the Higher Institute of Fine Arts (HISK). She currently lives and works in Mechelen.

Boogaerts makes site-specific drawings, performances, films and animated video installations. Her work has been shown at BUDA (Kortrijk), M HKA (Antwerpen), Vooruit (Ghent), KVS (Brussels), Art on paper / BOZAR (Brussels), Art Exchange / University of Essex - Colchester UK, Fondazione 107 (Turin), Artistes-en-Residence (Clermond-Ferrand), Air Antwerpen, STUK (Leuven), Centre d'art Waza (Lubumbashi) among others.
