Mar* Szydłowska continues their research on A Ray of Light or How to Hold - a performative environment of counterproductiveness. This work premiered at the opening of the new headquarters of the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw in October 2024 and was performed with long-time collaborators of Mar*: Eimi Leggett, Federico Protto, Valentino Skarwan, Osamu Shikichi, Mlondiwethu Dubazane, and aleks borys.

Looking into ecologies of attention, Mar*'s research moves through urgencies related to resilience, ephemera and deep body states.

Currently, they are especially focused on the idea of sustainable making and reshaping existing work through practice. During the residency in the Penthouse of Kaaistudios, they will engage in a dialogue and a post-dramaturgy exercise with Andrea Rodrigo - a dramaturg, curator and researcher in the field of contemporary dance and choreography.
