In the spring of 2023, Elien was welcomed to class 6hz1, a sixth-grade hair care in a Brussels school. During practical lessons, students filmed each other and while cutting or colouring, conversations arose about dreams for the future, racism, special colours, being shy,... The video work shows the everyday hopeful and warm ideas that live in the classroom.
