The Third Room

The project aims at generating tools and strategies that are helpful in speaking and thinking about forms of violence that are familiar and common yet tend to remain unrecognised as causing damage. We often fail to notice Low Intensity Violence because of becoming habituated to it through language, social order, custom, culture. The significant character of Low Intensity Violence is the way we each produce and become prone to it on the daily basis. In our work we look for ways of speaking about it which are as multi-dimensional and self-critical. During the one-month residency in workspacebrussels atelier we will continue working on and practicing writing tools which we developed throughout our research in 2021. The residency will also mark the beginning of production process leading up to the premiere of the work in December 2022.
