How did the austerity plans in Greece influence the intimate sphere of people?
In her new project Seekers, Anna Muchin works with poetry, music and image to address the drastic socio-economical changes that have taken place in the intimate sphere of people, neighbors, friends, family since the wake of the austerity plans enforced by Europe and the national government to respond to the structural deficit in Greece.
The everyday twisting into a new living normative, we had to seek for ways to bend, like reeds, not to Break. How do we move ourselves through such a shift? How do we live with it? How do we address it and respond to it?
During her residency Anna Muchin will develop these questions into different objects-media echoing one another.
