An associative dream sequence about witches and fear

For her research into the contrast between the imaging of witches and how witch hunts actually took place, Nazanin Fakoor has developed a video about fear. She asked people questions like "What is a witch?" and "What are you afraid of?" and created an associative dream sequence out of the answers she received.

In haar onderzoek naar het contrast tussen de beeldvorming van heksen en hoe de heksenvervolgingen er effectief aan toe gingen, maakte Nazanin Fakoor een videowerk over angst. Ze stelde mensen vragen als "Wat is een heks?" en "Waar ben jij bang voor?" en verwerkte de antwoorden in een associatieve droomsequentie.
