Still Here – An Alliance of Care for the SZenne River
For three years, Natural Contract Lab has been walking-with the Szenne and its people, fishes, stones, clay… to remember its waters and weave an alliance of care for the recognition of its rights. The group organizes river gatherings by acknowledging the whole river from its source in Naast to the bifurcation in the Zennegat of Mechelen. Are you curious? Join a ‘walking-with’ via the registration form.
Natural Contract Lab is a transdisciplinary artistic group and practice that aims to create a systemic dialogue with waters undergoing ecological transformations. As a body of care, NCL invites others to moments of 'walking-with' the river, water mourning circles, collective gestures of care, Agoras, river schools and other actions.
