A journey through an old, broken house in nine solos

In the shape of nine solos, The House displays nine rooms in which figures are trapped like dolls in a music box. They are part of a world that has been fantasizing for a long time about its own end, hoping for immense change, a reckoning. But judgement is long overdue and now they are stuck in an aftermath of sorts. (No wonder they’re paranoid.) Together the solos create a journey through an old, broken, house, where these characters have something to tell you, and then you’re asked to move on.

The performance will take place at Picar, a studio space inhabited by a changing group of 11 artists. There will be a short intermission and bar set-up with a suggested free donation to the studio space (cash only).
