Judith Engelen
Bio
Judith Engelen creates visual, associative performances in which she combines fast technology with slow literature. She graduated from the Toneelacademie in Maastricht in 2023, after completing a master’s degree in clinical psychology at KULeuven. Her work maintains a strong connection with psychiatry and psychoanalysis. Through technology, she develops alienating images that hover between dream and perception. Alongside her own work, she has appeared in projects by, among others, Michiel Vandevelde, Charbel-Joseph H. Boutros, and Miet Warlop. During her studies at the Toneelacademie, she interned with DE HOE (DE HOE onderbreekt and Radio Insomnia).
