Rita Hoofwijk

Rita Hoofwijk is a Dutch artist. The motivation for her work continually stems from a specific location or context. The work itself materialises in different forms, from spatial interventions and installations to audio, text. It explores the possibilities of the environments in which it resides, either mentally or physically and seems to ask for a reconsideration of ones’ initial observation. What arises is a collection of works of different shapes and scales, which may only take place once and at other times merely exist by means of repetition.
