Sara Vilardo

Sara Vilardo is an actress, performer and theatre-maker. Born in Milano, she moved in 2008 to Brussels and is currently based in Copenhagen.

She finished in 2010 a postgraduate in Advance Performance and Scenography Training (a.pass, Brussels) and in 2017 a Master in Stage Performance and Visual Culture in Madrid (Reina Sofia Museum / University of Castilla La Mancha).She has been working internationally with several artists and companies. Over the years she has specialized in creating performance projects in landscape or non-conventional, site-specific and interactive spaces, collaborating as performer and/or co-author with various companies including Wunderland (DK), Cantabile2 (DK), LisLab PerformingArt (IT), Sisters Hope (DK), Pleiadi Art Production (IT), Verenigde Planeten (BE) and Lundhal & Seithl (S). Her ultimate goal is to continue pushing boundaries and creating unique, captivating performances that inspire and challenge audiences. Her creations are strictly connected to what she experiences at specific moments of her life, and to how those are affecting her vision on reality.

In addition to her passion for the arts, Sara is also a certified yoga teacher, combining her love for movement and meditation.
