a fragile moment of peace
A fragile moment of peace began as an intimate exploration of death and decay, eventually evolving to perceive decay as an omnipresent force enveloping our global narratives. Decay is seen in the thousands of perishing bodies, the unraveling of systems repeatedly exposing their flaws, the deterioration of a planet constantly signaling its distress, and ultimately, in humanity's real-time acceptance of this pervasive miasma.
This exploration then expanded to question our relationship with non-human entities and the moments when their presence seems to alter our perception of space. A fragile moment of peace is an artistic inquiry into these connections and the worlds that emerge from them. It focuses on interactions with angels, demons, and spirits, and explores how these relationships resonate with our interactions with digital entities, such as artificial intelligences and data algorithms.
The project draws inspiration from medieval magical texts and contemporary studies on artificial intelligence. It aims to develop methods of staging at the thresholds where humans and non-humans coexist, using experimental scenographic techniques and atmospheric composition.
