Focusing on representation in performance, his research will be divided into two parts: Embodied borders and Borders in space. Embodied borders is a research about the body and the various degrees of presence of performativity in a ‘utopian body’ (1). Borders in space is a reflection and experiment on what borders of representation are in space, architecture and in the practical objects that are part of it to compose the ‘heterotopia’ (2) of the performative space.

In Utopian Body, a radio broadcast conference related with his conference on heterotopia, Michel Foucault exposes an ambivalence of the body in its relation to space. It is here and everywhere at the same time. He describes the body of the dancer as ‘dilated along an entire space that is both exterior and interior to it’.
